Students learn through daily practice to develop initiative, creativity, problem solving, managerial abilities and confidence.

There are several most important events in school life that almost all members take part in. These events require much time and many students and teachers' effort to get them ready. We consider working in an action group one of the most significant educational processes.

We traditionally celebrate The 1 st of September, New Year, School Birthday and some national holidays such as Women Day and Men Day. A group of volunteers of students and teachers meet some weeks in advance for brainstorming. And then students take responsibility for a chosen part of preparing the holiday: designing deco, staging a performance, thinking up different indoor or outdoor activities.

Once in two years we arrange a tree-day-business game. Everyone from primary to high school students participate in establishing enterprises. You can find a government, tax office, a court and lots of cinemas, restaurants, beauty shops etc in the school-city. Many parents tend to help make the game. They share experience and conduct business trainings for kids.

In September all school community gather for a one-day teambuilding camping trip in the county. A group of high-schoolers arrange a number of outdoor activities, competitions, quest games for secondary school students. Many teachers also love taking part.

The largest and very special holiday is the Lyceum week. It has a great history. It has been celebrated since 1976. The Lyceum week is a tree-day-role-game where school life is turned into the world of the beginning of the 19 th century. That period means a lot to Russian history as a first moment when people start to talk about freedom, human rights and creating a constitutional government. This time is also marvelous with its balls, noble ideas of behavior etc.

We try to recreate the atmosphere of mutual respect, elegant manners, and boundless friendship.
